What Racers are Saying...

I wanted to sincerely thank Drew, George, and Karen and all of the race volunteers. Everyone did a fantastic job and I really appreciate their efforts. I am so grateful all of the volunteers were willing to stand out in the cold and rain all day long waiting for the runners and being very encouraging when they came in. It made a huge difference. Thank you so much.

The course has some great hooks: coverage of almost all of the Chena River State Recreation Area, where we have boated, hiked, skied, camped and ran so many times. Traverse of some of the high country and a few rugged miles of the Chena Dome Trail, which doesn’t see many footprints.

A crazily technical course featuring areas of no trail, pointy rocks, killer uphills and swampy lowlands along with a few bridge-less creek crossings.

WOW–just WOW!!  Huge shout out to all those that finished such an amazing challenge, and especially to all of the volunteers helping runners through!!

…Definitely have a goal in place for July 2017, and plan to be way more prepared for the challenges of the course.  Have to come back and finish this lol!! … I think you are all amazing athletes!!

It was a super fun event, and I think I will try doing it again next year, though hopefully I will be able to run a lot more of it…

A huge thank you to my family for letting me disappear for this race, and to the folks who put it on – Drew Harrington, Karen Taber, and George Berry. You guys rock, I really enjoyed it.

Just wanted to say thanks for the amazing race this weekend! Everything was AWESOME! The aid stations were packed of really enthusiastic, supportive people (and delicious snacks) and that was so great!

…It was also the most challenging course I’ve done at that distance, but I loved it and hope it remains the same for next year. The mix of technical and non-technical terrain was perfect…

Thanks for putting on such a great race. We really enjoyed it and it was the perfect race for what we were looking for.

We’ll be sure to spread the word and try and send as many from the lower 48 your way as we can next year.
